You may be wondering what’s different this tax season. The amount of tax credits that are available both at the individual and business level are proving to be challenging yet could be advantageous.

These credits include things like the employee retention credit, the child tax credit and the loan forgiveness for PPP that was instrumental throughout the pandemic, not to mention a decentralized workforce that adds complexity at the state and the local level.

This tax season technology and automation will be more critical than ever before. Keeping up to some with these legislative changes can be challenging for all of us, and that’s why leaning on accounting professionals is critical this time of year.

They can offer client advisory services so that we’re in a winning position. Things like saving time, making sense of the regulatory changes and ultimately being able to move through this filing season with ease are all about the insight and the knowledge that the accountants can provide, backed by exceptional technology.
